SUPER EAGLES MAKE IT TO THE WORLD CUP

After a gruelling spate of twelve matches spanning over approximately one year, the Nigerian National Team,the Super Eagles restored smiles to the faces of Nigerians by picking the sole ticket in their group, and qualifying for South Africa 2010 - the first World Cup to be held in Africa.The team was undefeated throughout the series, and at the draws for the main event, Nigeria's coach Amodu Shaibu was visibly the only black man among the elite coaches of the world gathered.The Nigerian FA and government are to host the team to a lavish reception later today.
